Here are the requested mint brownies!
Mint Brownies
1 c butter
2 c sugar
blend together until creamy then add
4 egss one at a time
4 1oz squares of unsweetened chocolate
(melted in microwave for about 1 min)
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
* pour in a 9x 13 pan. Bake 325 for 30 min.
I like to line my pan with foil. Leave a long enough edge on each side, that way when the brownies are done and ready to be cut just lift up the foil and pull the whole sheet of brownies out of the pan and slice!
Mint Frosting
1/2 c butter
2 tsp milk
2 c powdered sugar
1/2 tsp mint extract
1-2 drops of green food coloring
* Sometimes I 1 1/2 this recipe if I want a little thicker frosting middle.
When cooled frost and refrigerate for 30 min.
Chocolate Sauce
6 TBL butter
2 tsp vanilla
1 c semi sweet choc chips melted
*Melt the choc and butter together in microwave then stir in vanilla.
Spread onto brownies.
Store brownies in refrigerator.
Another version of these mint brownies is to substitute the mint frosting with
a peanut butter frosting.
Peanut butter frosting
1/2 c butter softened
1/2 c creamy P.B.
2 c powdered sugar
2 tsp milk
